PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market. The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, we are looking for a **Credit Risk Manager** to lead a team of credit risk analysts in assessing merchant risk, setting merchant security terms, and monitoring merchant creditworthiness.

**Job duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop an in-depth understanding of payment and merchant risk within the Pay Retailers environment.
- Create the standards and processes to assess merchant credit risk and set security terms within the merchant onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.
- Develop merchant portfolio risk reporting and provide on an ongoing basis.
- Work with sales and account management to balance risk and reward.
- Oversee the implementation and management of merchant credit risk systems, including transaction monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of credit risk management processes across the Group.
- Development of a world class and global credit risk strategy and implement associated solutions
- Deliver KPIs and high-quality information, analytics and intelligence on credit risk management and associated trends.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years of management and team leadership experience.
- +5 years of experience in payments industry, internet banking, ACH, and credit card processing.
- A deep understanding of KYB principles and regulatory frameworks for KYB.
- Working knowledge of merchant monitoring platforms.
- Detailed experience with credit risk assessment models and standards.
- Experience in payments, internet banking, ACH, and credit card processing.
- Familiar with credit card scheme regulations and fraud programs.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills.
