PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market. The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments.
Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, we are looking for a **Risk Analytics Manager** to lead a team of data scientists and risks systems analysts in analyzing data, assessing risk, and configuring risk systems to optimize risk and reward while mitigating key risks.
**Job duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of key business risks and performance indicators, and the control functions that are used to influence them.
- Lead a team of data scientists, setting priorities for the analysis required to inform business decisions about risk mitigation strategies and risk controls that are to be implemented.
- Oversee the implementation and management of risk systems, including enterprise transaction monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of risk management processes and associated mitigations necessary across the Group.
- Development of a world class and global anti-fraud strategy and implement associated solutions that minimize impact to members and merchants.
- Deliver, rollout and assure a world class and global enterprise risk framework, spanning all lines of business and Group functions.
- Deliver KPIs and high-quality information, analytics and intelligence on risk management and associated trends.
- Enhance existing fraud metrics and provide ongoing management reporting on fraud related issues/events.
- Oversee and assist in the development, training and professional education of Risk community across the group.
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 7 years of management and team leadership experience.
- +5 years of experience in payments industry, internet banking, ACH, and credit card processing.
- In depth experience in payments fraud typologies.
- Experience with machine learning models and rules.
- A deep understanding of KYC principles and regulatory frameworks for KYC and KYB.
- Working knowledge of transaction monitoring platforms and systems in a heavily regulated and audited environment.
- Familiar with credit card scheme regulations and fraud programs.
