FUNCTIONAL CONTENTMain Role

The Global Risk manager will support the GRM Director in the management of Corporate & Strategic Risks, providing the methodology for Risk Assessment across the company, and assuring all the existent control systems are coherent, integrated and considering the general principles defined (Governance & Culture, Strategy & Objective Setting, Performance, Review & Revision, Information/Communication & Reporting) This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies, fostering a culture of risk awareness across the Organization.

Roles

Develop and implement risk management programs:

  • Design, implement and maintain integrated risk management frameworks to strengthen Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Conduct regular risk assessments (ERM) to identify potential threats to the Organization´s strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the key departments and functions all the across the Organization to ensure alignment and compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs and to integrate risk management into business processes.
  • Monitor changes and update risk management practices accordingly.

Risk Maps annual process:

  • Quarterly evaluation, monitoring and update of the risk maps.
  • Analyze and quantify strategic risks by using data and risk assessment models.
  • Develop and implement risk management tools and Key Risk Indicators (KRI´s)
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
  • Report and communication: prepare and present executive-level reports and dashboards to senior leadership. Communicate risk assessments and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders.

Training and support:

  • Provide training and support across the Organization on risk management practices.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management.

Continuous improvement:

  • Continuously review and improve risk management process and frameworks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in risk management.

JOB PROFILE

Required Studies:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law or related field
  • Advanced degree of certification in risk management, compliance and/or audit (i.e ISO31000, COSO ERM, CISA, CRMA) will be preferred.

Other specialized knowledge:

  • Familiarized with GRC Tools (SAP GRC, Workiva, Diligent, etc) and PowerBI

Languages:

  • Native or full proficiency in Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Professional experience:

  • +7 years of progressive experience in audit, internal risk management or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Big4, multinational environments or Pharma industries will be highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
