Your focus will be to improve and keep under control O-I Total System Cost, minimize market inflation, reach expected service level for quality and lead times of the goods and services purchased, supporting the Procurement Organization achieving the assigned targets, through operational excellence, professional reporting, and positive approach.

These activities include but are not limited to supporting the Strategic Sourcing Process (SSP) execution through regional and/or local agreements, negotiations, supplier selection/development and contract management.

**Reports to**:
You will report to Country Group Procurement and Logistics Leader South-West, within our O-I European Procurement Organization.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Analyze business needs to develop robust sourcing strategies aligned with the stakeholders supporting the short and long term business objectives: performing financial goal attainment and developing supplier relations, including quality and service level agreements and follow up;
- Build a team of engaged, motivated and dedicated procurement professionals (2 direct reports), leading to better performing organization;
- Optimize material and supplier portfolio contributing to the reduction of TCO;
- Lead identified improvement projects;
- Contract lifetime management;
- Develop and maintain supplier relationship with the objective of reducing costs and increasing company profitability.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Business and Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract and supplier management
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Ability to make strategic decisions for all assigned responsibilities, set priorities, drive changes, meet deadlines and recommend strong course of action
- Positive, hands-on, determined, highly motivated and result oriented with an organized and structured approach to solving tasks
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills and to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results that are in the best interest of the company
- Experience in demand management, automation, outsourcing, make or buy, TCO
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives - document, plan and execute
- Experience with procurement and sourcing tools. Experience in using SAP, MS Office
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Travel requirements: up to 15%
