**Main responsibilities**:
Manage and support staff responsible for QC testing to ensure prompt and accurate analysis.

Manage and support synthesis staff to ensure delivery of good quality products, on time.

Responsible for ensuring laboratory and production areas are maintained to a modern standard.

Liaising with purchasing, sales and operations, as necessary, to provide information about status of testing and production.

Reporting to the Board and Managing Director about investment requirements necessary for good running of the QC laboratory and production.

Comply waste management regulations and good environmental practices.

**Skills & Experience**:
BSc degree or similar

Analytical chemistry laboratory methods

Experience related to inorganic salts production

Organized, IT literate, Practical problem solving, Staff management

Fluent English speaker
