**About the role**:
Fortis Games is hiring for a Global IT Support Director to manage, execute, and track cross functional strategic business support needs. This role will lead the strategy, team, and projects needed to support a global remote first organization.

**What you will achieve**:
- Support of the various systems within our technology stack
- Partner with local business leads and team members to identify needs and facilitate their delivery
- Identify, onboard, and work with local vendors to facilitate the delivery of equipment as needed
- Identify, prioritize, and communicate project-level tasks, risks, and issues
- Manage delivery of IT support related projects according to plans
- Track projects, tickets, and other requests' progress through management software such as ClickUp, Zendesk, Confluence, and Google Workspace
- Build relationships with cross functional teams to execute projects and tasks on time and with high quality
- Maintain written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and maintain project-level documentation
- Run postmortems and retros to help the organization continuously learn and grow
- Hire, mentor, and build a high-powered team to support the growth of Fortis
- Partner with other Business Solutions & InfoSec team members to accomplish company, team, and individual objectives
**What you will need to be successful**:
- Experience supporting a globally dispersed technical organization
- Experience working with internal and external partners and vendors to achieve goals on aggressive timelines
- Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and budgets
- Experience with sourcing and procurement procedures
- Experience managing technical staff in a remote environment
- Experience with both Mac and Windows
- Experience managing SaaS based collaboration and productivity tools
- Experience maintaining inventories and forecasting equipment and software needs
- In depth knowledge of support KPIs and their effect on engineers' behaviors
- Ability to build dashboards and status reports to create transparency
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership and collaboration skills
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed
- Experience with automation and self service solutions is a plus
- Experience working in a game development environment is a plus
