Position Description

Trek Bicycle is looking for an IT Lead to join our team in South West Europe (Spain, France and Portugal)

Key accountabilities
- Responsible for all IT corporate & Retail based in our Southwest Europe Office in Madrid, managing 1 FTE.
- Support the Spanish, French and Portuguese business from Madrid corporate and Retail.
- 1st and 2nd level support to internal users including store employees - DOTS (direct owned Trek stores)
- Manages IT helpdesk calls and resolves complex issues though liaison with IT in Europe and US.
- Installs new hardware & software to tight deadlines & provides continuous support for both.
- Implements & supports network infrastructure including Trek & Trek Owned Retail solutions.
- Ability to support mobile phones, alarm systems, footfall counters & a diverse range of hardware solutions.
- Support & implementation (Project work & responsibility) for Trek Owned Retail stores in with local hardware & networking requirements under direction of the European IT Retail Manager.
- Microsoft Active Directory management & Windows configuration.
- Manages & plans budget to efficiently reduce costs.
- Provides security training & keeps Trek internal systems & the retail environment safe.
- Configures & supports Voice IP systems.
- This role will require limited travel of 5-10%

**Requirements**:

- Graduate education
- Fluent in Spanish, English, ideally with French skills as well
- 2+ years in an IT Lead role with an emphasis on aligning business requirements with IT solutions and project work
- Knowledge of PC hardware & installs (Mac is a plus)
- Understanding & experience of Meraki (or equivalent) networking architectures
- Experience of managing supplier contracts & control of costs
- Used to multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Flexible working hours and availability at weekends in exceptional circumstances
- Active Directory experience & Windows 10 / 11
- Virtual Server understanding
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of Voice IP phones & call centers
- Understanding of IT retail environment
- Understanding the importance of IT Security Awareness in a company
- Managment skills: you will be responsible for the IT Support Specialist
