Job Description:
Rakuten TV is a leading streaming platform, available in 42 countries of Europe, which offers premium Hollywood and local content across various types of access: Transactional Video-on-demand (ie buy or rent movies), AVOD (advertising-based on-demand content) or FAST (linear free TV channels with ads). Rakuten TV forms part of Rakuten Group one of the worlds’ leading internet services companies, offering a wide variety of services for consumers and businesses, with a focus on e-commerce, fintech and digital content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with a diverse sales team to understand their needs and provide marketing support to drive sales growth.- Manage relationships with external vendors to meet all needs.- Marketing Operations-
- Support on coordination and execution of events across EU5 (travel to events required) including sponsorship packages, logistics and pre/post-event communications.- Create/source/translate compelling content (presentations, case studies, blog posts, white papers, etc.) to drive messaging at events and in marketing campaigns- Work alongside Product Marketing to support sales enablement and engagement initiatives- Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.- Conduct market research to understand the needs and preferences of advertisers in the EU5 region.- Campaign Performance analysis- Analyse marketing campaign performance, prepare reports for management, and provide recommendations for optimization.- Identify target audiences and develop tailored marketing campaigns to reach them effectively.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Demonstrable knowledge of marketing best practices and multiple marketing channel execution- Industry knowledge: Clear understanding of the video advertising landscape, including programmatic advertising, ad tech, and digital marketing trends.- Organisational Skills: Experience in planning and managing events, both hosted and external.- Communication Skills: Content creation and writing skills
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in another EU5 language (German, French, Spanish, or Italian) is a strong advantage.- B2B Content creation experience (case studies, white papers, blog posts, presentations)- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
