**SCIB is looking for a GLOBAL HEAD OF DISTRIBUTION AND TAKE OUT RISK, based in our BOADILLA DE MONTE (HEADQUARTERS) office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Head of Distribution and Take Out Risk **reporting to the Global Head of Client & Structured Credit Risk, you will be in charge of the team which is responsible of analyzing and controlling all the risks related to the underwriting and warehousing activities performed by the SCIB business division within the Private Debt Mobilization (PDM) team. This includes the definition of policies, procedures, and frameworks for this activity, coordinate the admission process with the local units and with the rest of the global risk and business teams within SCIB, attend the global risk and business forums, etc.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to develop a recently created function within the SCIB risk area, setting up a new team and having a relevant internal exposure with the senior management in Global forums and with the local units.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Definition of the procedures, policies and frameworks which regulate globally in Santander the distribution risk
- Analyze during the global granting process all transactions with underwriting / warehousing risk and give a recommendation
- Define and perform the monitoring and control tasks to properly manage this function within risk
- Define and control the Risk Appetite for this activity
- Coordinate with the rest of the global risk areas
- Coordinate with the local units
- Set up a team to support all these tasks

EXPERIENCE
- At least 10-15 years of experience in Structured Finance / Syndicated loans type of products (either in front office or in Risk).

EDUCATION
- University study in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other related degrees.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Analytic, people skills, resilient, creative, independent
- Spanish, English, Knowledge of a third language will be positively valued.
- Previous experience in PDM will be a plus
