**Position Description**:
The role has direct accountability of all supply chain operations i.e. Demand Planning & Management, Warehousing, Customer Service, Customer Collaboration, Outbound Transportation (from Country Distribution Centers to Customers), and Supply Chain (SC) execution of initiatives including sustainability, NPIs, Slow moving and obsolete goods management and mitigating Supply risks, within the cluster coordinating with regional & global E2E Supply Chain Teams.

Role is responsible for product availability at the country level: accurate demand forecasting followed by operational expediting/de-expediting to balance service and inventory at the country level. Key enablers of Agility by leading total SC orchestration to demand swings.
- Provides One integrated voice of entire SC to Country / Cluster Board, ensuring that SC is working as ONE TEAM; conveying and synchronizing Commercial strategy into E2E SC strategy.
- Steers E2E Supply Chain strategy development and execution, to ensure SC pillars are deeply integrated and collaborative.
- Is the Primary connection between SC Franchise Teams and the Country Commercial Strategy and Execution.
- Drives “last mile” execution of new product introductions, (NPI), lifecycle management initiatives (LCM), Margin enhancement, cost improvement initiatives (CIPs) and Cash management initiatives incl. Phase-in / Phase-out of products.
- Drives E2E Gross Profit agenda: generate and prioritize CIP ideas, debottleneck projects by working with Commercial teams and SC functions, lead execution to ensure no/minimum impact from execution and influence P&L drivers in an E2E manner, with one P&L mindset.
- Acts as agent of change while serving as a business partner to the management team.
- Governs the IBP process for the respective Cluster as well as own the Demand and Supply Submission in collaboration with the respective functions
- Role influences and develops Supply Chain solutions to new business opportunities e.g. Ecommerce, Direct dispatches from factories to Customers, sustainability initiatives.
- The role is responsible for managing product quality at the country level, addressing customer complaints, and executing actions to mitigate quality issues.
- The role is responsible for portfolio optimization execution at a local level: working with Commercial and Cluster RGM team and Squads, incl long-term product roadmap and portfolio entry strategy.
- Is accountable for service/inventory performance across the SC through to delivery to end customers
- Shaping and strengthening SC process by identifying internal and external best practices to develop strategic plans to meet the needs of the cluster
- Drive excellence in all the areas of customer service and collaboration thus creating a culture of continuous improvements
- Develop lean supply chain initiatives to ensure we maintain pace with our customer demand while protecting working capital
- Continuously analyzes the supply chain and implements alternative strategies to reduce cost and improve performance
