**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**SGTO is looking for a GLOBAL HEAD OF SOFTWARE DELIVERY OPERATING MODEL based in our Headquarters office at BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid).**

The **Global Head of Software delivery Operating Model **will own the end to of the SW delivery operating model at Group level with related frameworks, methodologies, policies, organizational set up and KPIs, and drive transformation plan to evolve Group Sw delivery model into a best in class.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Owns (Defines, evolve, maintains & oversights) end to end SW delivery operating model at Group level, with related frameworks, methodologies, organizational set up, KPIs and policies.
- Manages relationship with key stakeholders in Global teams (CTO & CIO areas), and with entities (SW delivery transformation teams in entities) for all related to SW operating model
- Supports the 3-years SW delivery transformation program definition in coordination with the rest of the SW delivery teams in order to define and prioritize workstreams towars SW delivery best in class
- Lead key WorkStream under SW delivery model domain (aligned with the 3 years transformation program) to transform Group SW delivery model, working closely with entities, and ensuring delivery of key milestones.
- Evolve the end to end of SW development lifecycle process under global perspective, after reviewing current situation in entities and selected best practice.
- Ensures SW delivery methodologies under global perspective, after reviewing current situation in entities and selected best practice.
- Lead the ways of working of sw development teams, including team composition, methodology of ways of working, ceremonies, etc..
- Evolve SW development policies and related standards, after analyzing current status and gaps, defines and manage the necessary efforts to close the gap.
- Owns the best organizational setup of SW development teams and the operating model related according to process lifecycle defend (ie. Support or testing model). After analyzing current situation in entities define the target model for Group/ entities and manage the transition with entities.
- Ensures key control parameters for SW development (ie. Sonar values,) and manage homogenization at group level
- Drive change management process to adopt technical platform in the entities. Defines change management plans and KPI, ensures the training needed, evaluates change management performance and manage deviations
- Defines, ensures implementation, evolve and follows Global Top of the house Indicators, under SW delivery model (ie. performance, quality, productivity, SW re-use, automatization) to ensure oversight and high level evolution progress
- Defines, ensures implementation, evolve and follows detail Global key metrics under SW delivery model (ie. performance, quality, productivity, SW re-use, automatization) to ensure continuous improvement progress and detail analyses.
- Manage relation with Global Technical platform ensuring alignment with SW delivery Operating model

EXPERIENCE
- At least 10 years’ experience in SW delivery within management functions, hands on Delivery and Release functions. Preferable: Architecture, Testing, Development and Release Management, DevOps leadership functions
- At least 8 years’ experience leading SW delivery transformation programs in complex entities (multi entities, federated) with in the financial sector, including transformation on Sw delivery Operating model, ways of working, evolving organizational set up. Transforming sourcing model, transforming developer experience
- Experience on SW high performance entities and/or experience in IT consultancy companies

EDUCATION
- Technical degree such as in computer science, engineering or similar.
- Master’s degree a plus.
- Software Methodologies related certifications (CMMI, ITIL, Agile, DevOps related ).

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in an environment of competing priorities and to work under-pressure
- Advanced knowledge of it processes and systems in the financial services industry
- Expert problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
- Proven ability to work within a team environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to frequent change
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources
- Fluent in English and Spanish
