We are looking for a Head of Market Data as you with skills and competencies on developing digital technologies to build, integrate and evolve required Santander’s new global platforms.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO**

As Head of **Data Architecture **, you will be leading the Data Architecture team reporting to the Chief Technology Officer Global. And your objective will be to enable and supervise the licensing and use of the data needed for Business operations...

Your work will consist of tasks related to these areas:

- Lead the data strategy
- Manage and cultivate the relationship with the Business
- Lead a team of Data architects, defining world-class Data Analytics architectures to deploy our Global CTO strategies, platforms, and projects across Santander businesses, leveraging our Group Data technologies and reference architectures, making sure that the architectures are tailored to their needs and requirements, and securing its adoption by the business.
- Provide technical excellence and support for all Data Analytics across Santander entities, stakeholders and teams, being a main point of contact for all related needs and supporting the business with a portfolio of alternatives around a Data (public cloud-based Data Lake / DWH technologies, Event-driven architectures, Data Ops, ML Ops, etc.) to respond to existing, or new business use cases enabled by operational an informational Data-driven solutions.
- Manage the relationship with Top Technology Vendors at the technical, functional and roadmap levels, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Confluent, etc. with strong negotiation skills to be able to guide the relationship with them to the desirable outcome which is full compliance with Santander strategies.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR**

EXPERIENCE
- +10 years’ experience managing technology teams in projects involving Data-related technologies: Big Data, Cloud, AI/Machine Learning, Data Streaming, 360 Modelling, Governance, Quality, Data privacy
- +5 years’ experience in large, complex organizations business-driven projects, leading the interaction with the business stakeholders, in the Retail banking business.

EDUCATION
- STEM Bachelor’s Degree required and a Master and/or technical certifications and /or MBA are a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish written and spoken
