**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

Overall objective of the Role: Manage and coach ST consultants and perform GSTL role. The Role of the Global Service Transition Lead (GSTL) is the oversight of large scale transitions to Operations in collaboration with the Service Transition Leads. This position ensures that projects are completed within defined scope, quality, time and budget. The Global Service Transition Lead is the main representative for Service Transition supporting pre-sales pricing models, project resourcing, client's interactions, standardization of transition tools, and effective internal and external communication to all stakeholders in the transition.

Main Responsibilities Delivery Key responsibilities:

- Work with Sales and Finance for Cost Budgets related to transition activities for new client deals
- Support SR Catch process, for Service Transition, as requested.
- Responsible for deliverables as outlined within the Service Transition Checklist
- Provide feedback to Global Standards (PIM) team on recommended additions/improvements to the global standards as identified during the life of the project.
- Serves as gateway to on-going successful business as usual relationship between Operations and the customer.
- Direct and plan the work, objectives and resource models for transition to Operations Participate in implementation meetings (client-facing and internal) as appropriate to ensure operations activities are completed
- Work with the Regional Lead - Service Transition and Resource Manager to allocate Service Transition Leads to new transitions
- Track and report progress (dashboards) to key stakeholders
- Assess and proactively communicate risk, which may have impacts to the business.
- Ensure Service Transition Deliverables and Activities are delivered within agreed milestones and budget
- Drive Lessons Learned from each transition to ensure continuous improvement to standard methodology and toolset
- Monitor delivery of transition within agreed scope, quality, time and budget
- Communication to relevant stakeholders
- Successful transition to operations for Enterprise projects
- Undertake business process reviews as required and to have the skills to analyze processes and map them to NGA standards.
- To solution problem resolution if a challenge arises during transition to ensure that delivery is on time and within budget
- Deliver presentations internally and externally to engage with stakeholders and as part of the transition process
- Mentor team members to develop depth of experience and capability.
- Support internal discussions around cost budgets related to testing activities for new customer projects.
- Participate in implementation meetings (customer facing and internal) as appropriate to ensure testing activities are completed.
- Review and complete the test strategy with the Client, engaging Alight stakeholders and delivery teams as appropriate.
- Support the completion of the local country test plan, including associated timelines, and validation around resource requirements to meet test plan. Work with ST Lead to secure resources as necessary
- Conducts/supports Local Test Kick off meetings which includes preparation of support materials and co-ordination of participants.
- Manage CR’s and amend Test Strategy associated with deviations from the standard Test Strategy.
- Review and quality check test scenarios based on standard scope and requirements, after STL has aligned with OPS SME’s.
- Ensure the test environment is put into place before test execution and managed during test execution.
- Establish process for testing status reporting and issue resolution
- Monitors the entry criteria for prior test phases to ensure they are successfully completed.
- Oversee all testing activities including issue resolution, to ensure adequate central governance process is in place
- Monitors resolution time with the developers to resolve defects and issues quickly and according to test level exit criteria.
- Review and quality check other test team members work ensuring the test standards and procedures are adhered to. Serves as advocate for testing standards adherence.
- Schedule and hold testing project governance meetings and ensure project stakeholders are aware and understand their respective deliverables.
- Lead, guide and hold accountable the project stakeholders to ensure they meet their required deliverables.
- Monitor signoffs internally and externally.
- Monitor delivery of testing phases within agreed scope, quality, time and budget.
- Drive lessons learned from each transition to ensure continuous improvement to standard methodology and toolset.
