For our Grid Integration Business Unit, we are looking for BU Market Intelligence and Analysis Manager.
**Main responsibilities**:
Support decision-making based on market data, collaborating on nurturing a data-driven culture. Gather, interpret data, and analyze results using analytics, research methodologies and statistical techniques, assessing BU and GPGs needs, playing a key role during the M&S yearly cycle (mainly Market Input Market Outlook -MIMO-, Market Strategic Plan and Global Target Setting -GTS-).
Support on the BU strategic program implementation inside the BU, aligning with M&S stakeholders
- The role will be focused on the following key-tasks/activities:
- Being the **person of reference,** in the Business Unit GI, on all the topics related to market intelligence (analytical tools, dashboards, excel-based files, SalesBI/PowerBI/STRATOS, external reports).-
**Targets**: Defining global marketing targets and ensuring these are achieve for Marketing. Proactively anticipating changes in marketing direction and facilitating appropriate remedial action. Tracks globally and Informs management of market research and analysis results that identify existing gaps or new opportunities for growth.**Progress review**: Ensures high quality synthesis and analysis, providing in depth understanding and insights relevant to Hitachi Energy decisions. Extracts and analyses data from sales/financial tools to measure effectiveness of current marketing activities and provides updates to management. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of data quality and completeness.**Tools**:Create necessary database to track market outlook by product including market sizing, competitiveness and Pricing. Supports M&S and Product Management in best use of sales tracking system and monitors ongoing data quality. Lead trainings to the stakeholders about the usage of the reports and dashboards.**Management meetings**: Supports the creation of templates and meeting packs for Management meetings, ensuring distribution in required timescales ahead of the meeting, reviews and builds analysis in line with the standard templates. Build up connection and automation, to support creation of benchmark management packages.**Ad hoc requests**: Address manager requests in case other requirements need to be covered, for example active supports to collect business requirements during the conceptualization of new initiatives or established processes in M&S as MIMO or GTS.**Pricing**:Lead the pricing processes optimization and implementation in BU. Focus in lost opportunities analysis and setting the correct target price for each opportunity**Collaboration and Continuous improvement**:Collaborates with Communications, Pricing and Product management to ensure full alignment, communications excellence and consistency across all market analysis. Carries out process improvements based on a culture of feedback and continuous improvement. Facilitates 360 degree communication, actively seeking feedback from stakeholders and implementing improvements based on stakeholder feedback for all activities.**Customer focus**:build customer focus and customer experience capability and culture throughout the whole Hitachi Energy, aggregating feedback received and legacy from different Business Units to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Leading the RNPS project inside the BU**STRATOS** preparation, production, and alignment for the main Hitachi Energy Global processes: Global Target Setting (GTS) and Marketing Input Market Outputs -historical product and market review

- Support on the Demand vs Supply Orders Received **budget** mapping (yearly, after GTS)**Competitor intelligence**: Collect data and provides sound business and competitor intelligence analyses related to market and trends. Participates with Management to contribute to definition of strategic plans and support relevant implementation.**Strategic initiatives**: support the key strategic initiatives of the GPG, collecting feedback and providing insights to improve hit-rate. Implement the Scapo program inside M&S organization**Support the Global Product Management** with data analysis for product specific business cases, product specific market potential.- Support for **pricing initiatives** (analysis, data consolidation, reporting).**Master Data** checks and validation for the related GPG.- BU **Product portfolio** analysis and support.- Portfolio reporting

**Your background**:
- University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent qualification.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of the Marketing and Sales processes.
- Leadership experience in sales, product management and operational projects.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends quickly.
