Yield Optimisation Manager

**Location: Barcelona, Spain**

We are looking for a highly motivated Yield Optimisation Manager (Web Products) to join our Mobile Monetisation team to help scale our growing advertising business. The main responsibility of this role will be to improve the overall yield of the web properties, which involves 1) optimising and maintaining the integrity and functionality of the ad configurations across multiple demand sources for all of the O&O and co-branded web properties, 2) liaising with multiple stakeholders including product, ad ops, commercial, dev and analytics teams as well out external publishers and traffic source partners to ensure proper delivery, performance, and reporting of 1st and 3rd party ad traffic, and 3) supporting the Yield Optimisation Director in identifying and developing additional revenue opportunities through new publisher partners, traffic sources, ad formats, scenarios, demand sources, and technologies.

As a Yield Optimisation Manager you will be reporting to the Yield Optimisation Director and is expected to have a deep understanding of the mobile advertising landscape in order to play a key role in driving increased efficiency in monetisation through our mobile web portfolio. You will be self-sufficient across the major third party ad network consoles (including Google Ad Manager, AdSense, AdMob, Facebook Audience Network) and possess the ability to understand complex end-to-end ad systems including our proprietary Opera Ads and ad server stack in order to work with multiple stakeholders including the engineering, analytics and ad operations teams.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Optimise and maintain the integrity and functionality of the ad configurations across multiple demand sources for all of the O&O and co-branded web properties.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders including product, ad ops, commercial, dev and analytics teams to ensure proper delivery, performance, and reporting of 1st and 3rd party ad traffic.
- Effectively communicate ad performance trends that impact revenue to the executive team and other internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Yield Optimisation Director to identify, strategise, and develop key areas of improvements to unlock additional revenue streams through new publisher partners, traffic sources, ad formats, scenarios, demand sources, and technologies.
- Facilitate any necessary testing and QA with the relevant teams.
- Coordinate with the ad operations team to troubleshoot issues to ensure all direct campaigns and self-serve campaigns run smoothly.
- Run, manage, and analyse A/B tests which may be required for yield optimisation or testing new client/demand partner changes.
- Assist in monthly financial reconciliation for 3rd party demand partners.

**The successful Yield Optimisation Manager will have**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile web & in-app monetisation.
- Deep understanding of ad tech, programmatic advertising and web technologies.
- Good understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript in the context of ad code implementation/troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and social skills.
- Ability to communicate and document processes and analysis, and clearly communicate results to technical and non-technical staff.
- Comfortable interacting with sales teams and occasionally with external partners.
- A high level of organisation and prioritisation; must be able to assess and assign priority to multiple goals, and clearly communicate timelines.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast paced, fluid environment.
- The ability to absorb complex technical and commercial information.
