**About the Role**
As **Pastry** **Cook**at **Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid**, is responsible for setting up and preparing high-quality desserts and baked goods in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in every dish served.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the Pastry Chef of the Hotel.
- Responsible for training and managing other colleagues daily with prep work and other functions in the pastry department.
- Assign daily production & non-production tasks (restocking pastry items, cleaning, etc) to team members and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Confirm all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety standards.
**What We Expect from You**:
- Diploma in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred.
- Able to communicate in Spanish.
- Two years of previous supervisory experience in sizeable luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
- Possesses an eye for detail and can execute standards accordingly.
- Ability to manage with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.
