Are you a passionate cook with a love for the Thai kitchen? Would you like to be part of an enthusiastic team in the oldest Thai restaurant of Haarlem?

Then we are looking for you

Our restaurant is situated in the historic center of Haarlem surrounded by shops, nice restaurants and cosy bars.

You will be responsible for authentic Thai dishes in a restaurant where the quality of the food comes first. You will oversee that the dishes will be prepared according strict quality guidelines, working ethics and recipes.

**Required Education/Experience**
- MBO (Secondary vocational education) 3, hotel and catering industry, specialized cook diploma
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as an independently working cook after obtaining diploma
- You speak Dutch or English

**Job requirements**:

- Mastery of all knowledge and skills of an independently working cook
- You are quality-oriented;

- You are hospitable and guest-oriented
- Good social skills.
- Works in the evenings, on weekends and public holidays
- A good team player who is flexible and has good communication skills.

**What we offer**:
Salary**:Starting from € 2400.00 Gross per month.

**Type of employment**: Full-time, Permanent job

**Working Schedule**:

- From 15:00 - 23:30
- Work in weekends
- Work on holidays

1. Prepare, cut and display the ingredients at the beginning of every working day.

2. Carrying out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, colour, fluidity, etc. and making adjustments/dosing.

3. Marinating meat products that need to be baked, fried, boiled or roasted.

4. Preparing starters and main courses that have to be baked, fried, boiled or roasted.

5. Cleaning one's own working environment, kitchen equipment and machines and assisting any kitchen assistant present in the complete cleaning of the kitchen.

Pay: From 2,400.00€ per month

**Experience**:

- working as independantly working cook after diploma: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English and/or Dutch (required)

License/Certification:
