**What you’ll be doing**
A Services Sales Principal is a senior thought leader that drives service-led complex solution opportunities with our largest, strategic customers. The role is responsible for collaborating with sales teams and customer executives to help lead, win and deliver value added customer outcomes combining Hitachi solutions and offerings. As the solution opportunity is explored, the Services Sales Principal develops an agenda, define a sales campaign roadmap, and decide which technology components are needed to achieve the client’s objectives. Services Sales Principals are the central point of contact for our clients for any service sales aligned to the overall solution’s components.
**What you bring to the team**
- Subject matter expertise in the entire Hitachi Vantara services solutions portfolio that will enable you to leverage the relationships with CIO, CXO, and BU heads within a targeted set of Global / Enterprise accounts to develop deep and trusted relationships
- The knowledge and experience to capturing and analyse customer business challenges and demands and to translate them into a Hitachi vision and solution
- The ability to build focused account plan, working both externally and internally with the core sales team and delivery team to orchestrate internal resources and drive sales cycles, ensuring new business development to maintain account growth
- Exemplary presentation skills to produce competitive sales tools in the form of presentations, briefs, white papers and website content
- Consistent and accurate forecasting ability, maintaining internal sales systems as the opportunity owner and ensuring communication on pipeline status of all revenue streams to line management
- Identifying Hitachi capability gaps in delivering on transformational services, and identifying and engaging partners to complete our solution offering
- Collaborating with other Hitachi companies in develop joint solutions and competitive account positioning, client messaging, and sales plays that effectively promotes the advantages of One-Hitachi
