**SCIB / SBGM **is looking for a **Client Service KYC/AML Onboarding Team Lead **, based in our **Boadilla del Monte **office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Client Service KYC/AML Onboarding Team Lead **, you will **supervise and coordinate a team responsible of the onboarding of clients and also of the KYC/AML Refresh process mainly for Financial Institutions and banks. You will ensure that your team delivers an efficient client onboarding journey with standardized experience across geographies and business units; aiming at improving the client´s experience; Your mission is to represent the client and the business internally in the Client Due Diligence process.**

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Day-to-day management and oversight of the Client Onboarding team
- Undertake Team performance assessments, 121’s, objective setting and review of training requirements
- Responsible for building relationships with Senior Desk Heads and be main point of escalation for the Business
- Ensuring regulatory and company compliance standards are met: maintaining internal controls and quality checks for the day-to-day onboarding process
- Work closely with the local Client Service execution teams to ensure the throughput and Time to Market of New To Bank and Refresh Clients meets Business demand
- Set -up a client / counterparty to do business with Santander;
- Efficient client journey with standardised experience across entities and business units;
- Deliver consistent client management (e.g. client feedback and complaints are captured and formally managed)

EXPERIENCE
- +3 years’ experience in Client Service or related field
- Relevant experience in KYC/AML, Financial Crime Operations or Regulatory Compliance is desirable

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, Master’s degree is a plus. Area od study: Legal, Business, Economics

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong Client orientation: Effective client and business engagement skills; Understand client needs and expectations in line with role specific requirements; Client focussed with demonstrated success in building relationships, engaging and services clients effectively and professionally
- Commercial: Have a good understanding of the business coverage and requirements, be aware of what drives commercial success and deliver services to complement our business agenda and time to market expectations
- People Management: Manage a team, support team members, provide knowledge sharing and coaching
- Interpersonal skills. Ability to work and collaborate efficiently with other teams
- Excellent communication skills - oral, written, in-person. Communication with senior people withing the organization and the clients
- Self-organized and ability to work under pressure
- understanding of corporate and institutional clients, their organizational structures and business needs
- Risk Management: To identify, assess, manage and report risks and controls, enabling the achievement of strategic objectives
