**What is the purpose of this Role?**

This position is responsible for selling and on-going management of new business relationships within the Hospitality industry for customers who are headquartered in Europe. In this role you will be responsible for selling directly and/or through partner relationships to new customers and/or prospects, developing sales targets and managing your sales pipeline, comprehensively understanding your market area, competition and Hospitality payments, establishing goals and sales strategies for the products / services sold to prospective customers. You will maintain and develop profitable customers utilizing a strategy based sales and relationship management approach that recognizes the customer’s needs/desires and aligns them with Elavon and its products/capabilities, and corporate values. You will be part of a small team and must be able to work collaboratively with teammates.

**1. Accountabilities for your role - what are you expected to do?**
- Grow and manage new business relationships with headquarters domiciled within Europe.
- Develop new business relationships in the region (mainly Northern Europe)
- Assist in defining the regional strategy to ensure ongoing alignment with the market conditions and corporate objectives.
- Build vertically integrated relationships at the headquarter level that bridge from operations to senior management levels - C - Suite
- Build relationships with card brands within the region and local payment options
- Build relationships with key industry players in the region eg PSP’s, regional stakeholders and complimentary service/solution providers
- Provide regular updates to customers using business analytics tools
- Provide customer insights based on customer’s data and market intelligence
- Manage customer relationships utilizing a define CRM process
- Speak at industry events on industry trends representing Elavon

**3. Technical Competencies for your Role - what are you expected to know? (software, programs, skills)**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong problem solving abilities
- Pre-disposition to focus on solution oriented discussions
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Excellent customer service/relationship building skills
- Ability to be self-sustaining and self-motivated. You will be part of a small team that is decentralized

**4. **Qualifications Required to perform your Role? (experience, language, driving licence etc)**
- English - very good
- German - very good
- Driving licence
- Considerable knowledge of sales and sales strategies
- Strong multi-cultural background
- Thorough knowledge of payments industry and current market trends
- Working understanding of financial statements and ability to support credit requests with sufficient financial justification.
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry OR Card Networks
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
