Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager - Supply Chain

As EHS Manager you will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain EHS in Mainland Europe across 6 Depots, 20+ Logistics Providers and Store Delivery areas in 14 markets. You will define tactical plans to meet overall EHS objectives, be a key contributor to Supply Chain EHS Strategy & delivery of Primark “Safe Today, Safe Tomorrow” programme. You will build powerful partnerships with Supply Chain & Retail Stakeholders, Retail EHS (in market), third party operators of depots & transport to deliver EHS excellence.

**What You’ll Do**:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

- To be initial point of escalation for Supply Chain EHS within mainland Europe and provide EHS input into crisis management when required.
- To support investigation for serious incidents, identifying root cause, widely sharing lessons learnt and supporting remedial action closeout.
- To collate data (leading, lagging) to meet internal Primark and wider ABF plc (parent company) requirements. To perform trend analysis and provide direction to improve.
- EHS business partnering of 6 depots (3rd party operated in Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic)
- Develop relationships with relevant 3rd parties across Inbound (containers), Outbound (to & from store) and Control Tower (depot to depot).

**What You’ll Bring**

- A minimum of 5 years EHS experience with senior management exposure.
- A qualification in an EHS field to Degree level or NEBOSH Diploma level.
- Knowledge of European EHS legislation.
- Flexibility to travel to the relevant locations in person as required by role.
- Experience in Construction / Automation / DGSA / vehicle standards advantageous.
