Local Supply Chain Manager

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager within our Food Packaging division. The main purpose of this role is to lead Supply Chain Management activities. This role will report to the Site Manager and will be based out of Santo Tirso.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Manage and optimize Supply Chain in terms of cost, reliability and service.

Optimize Production Planning to fulfill customer expectations.

Balance capacity and demand to maximize asset utilization.

Ensure permanent material availability though effective Material Management.

Inventory management.

Functional knowledge and technical skills within own and other areas:
In depth knowledge of all SCM processes (forecasting, planning, material management,)

Understanding of production capabilities and production processes.

Hands-on approach.

Capacity to build strong business relationships.

Strong leadership skill set to deliver improvement together with other stakeholders

Proven ability to cope with conflict situations

**Educational requirements/qualifications and experience**:
Technical/Engineer degree with 3+ years minimum in similar position.

Excellent knowledge of SAP, CoAgo, BW.

Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt Certification.

Entrepreneurial, systematic problem solver, result driven, analytical

Fluent in English and knowledge of Spanish language
