**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Works with the supply chain, manufacturing and sales teams to determine the resources necessary to meet production/customer demands. Interacts closely with the purchasing department to obtain materials for production or for sales. Ensures inventory levels are adequate to meet demand while also managing inventory turns at an appropriate rate.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the availability of all the raw materials needed during the production process (on time in full).
- Ensure availability of finished goods according to rolling forecast and order situation.
- Ensure that Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) runs without errors, and that Planning or Purchasing of realistic volumes and with realistic lead times is done.
- Track inventory level in terms of value & quantity.
- Ensure optimal stock levels based on expected sales figures (rolling forecast, open orders).
- Participates in the SIOP (Supply, Inventory & Operations Planning) Process
- Participate in Supply Alignment Meeting.
- Provide input about the capacity situation and potential issues.
- Implement an action plan for low turning products, slow movers and for blocked stocks
- Proactively communicate with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement and Product Managers about upcoming shortages and propose alternatives to the production schedule.
- Align production plan with decisions of Business, respect frozen zone and ensure approval and tracking of the violations.
- Responsible for Master Data Maintenance for materials (MRP Views)
- Align Lead times and lot size with Procurement responsible.
- Update safety stocks, campaign size and lead times.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Planning/Scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of Planning/Scheduling in a manufacturing environment - preferably chemical manufacturing
- 3 Years of SAP or other MRP system experience
- Must be highly organized
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Strong Microsoft
