**Job Opportunity**:
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a Multinational Programme Coordinator. This position will be located in the Madrid office.

As part of a global team, the Multinational Programme Coordinator (MPC) for the United Kingdom & Europe region works as a multinational process leader supporting all underwriting teams in the BHSI Europe region, providing guidance and direction in the analysis and execution of multinational insurance programmes. The MPC will liaise with customers, brokers, network partners, vendors and other intracompany teams around the globe, and in particular, other MPCs in the execution of multinational programmes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the execution of both inbound and outbound multinational programmes with the assistance of various proprietary tools and systems to support a rapidly growing multinational business
- Review underwriting submission materials to assist underwriters with the quoting and binding of local underliers
- Use BHSI’s WorldLink system to execute programs with other BHSI teammates and global partners
- Liaise with various teams at BHSI, including Legal, Compliance, Operations and Actuarial to address tax and regulatory compliance matters, reinsurance agreements, data management needs, policy issuance items, global invoicing, premium collections and payments and assure quality control throughout the lifecycle of multinational programmes
- Correspond with global customers and brokers
- Support the continued development of BHSI’s multinational processes, tools and systems

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 5+ years commercial insurance experience
- Multinational experience is extremely helpful
- In-depth understanding of policy construction, insurance company operations, regulatory requirements, rating and policy issuance
- Ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, with teams in other regions and with limited local supervision
- Strong analytical, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Must be proactive and able to work within a team environment
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Language skills: English, native or bilingual proficiency
