**Director, Transformation Management**:
**Location: Warsaw (Poland)/Mississauga (Canada)/Barcelona/Gothenburg (Sweden)**

This role is a key member of the Transformation Management Office. This role will manage and run key transformation and improvement projects in our R&D BioPharma Clinical Operations function as well as across R&D, which may vary in scope and complexity. The chosen individual will have a global remit, wide runway for value-add and a highly visible area of responsibility. In addition, the role will support the development of and maintaining project management standards and guidelines to be used by project teams. A truly exciting role that will allow one to touch several areas of the business and work on exciting, innovative and thought provoking projects. Reports to the Director of Transformation Management within the Transformation Management Office.
**Accountabilies**:
- Develops and maintains business area standards and processes for project and change management
- Work with leadership team to set, monitor and communicate strategy and goals (activities and budget) in close collaboration with portfolio, project and alliance management teams. Use reporting and analytics tools to communicate results
- Is responsible for the overall Quality Program & Project portfolio
- Leads project status reporting process, including risk and achievement management
- Aids in setting strategic direction for the Transformation Management Office and business area
- Actively evaluates the external landscape for standard processes in project management and business improvement
- Building networks with other team leaders and external specialists to learn about new developments, capitalise on all opportunities and share standard methodologies.
- Proven track record of shaping and developing innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and/or organisation
- Maintains positive relationships with supporting functions such as Finance, Communications, Capacity Planning, etc.
- Participates in AZ project management communities of practice to share standard methodologies and findings
- May run work with external service providers
- May be assigned leadership of key pivotal initiatives within business area
**Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
- Degree in business or scientific field
- Experience and expertise in portfolio, programme & project management, with a proven track record of delivery of programmes and projects
- Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
- Experience of defining the business strategies and influencing the vision of senior leaders
- Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
- Consistent record in delivering high risk programme/projects and decision making
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives, and to convince and manage negotiations across a complex group
