**SUMMARY OF ROLE**
The Key Accounts Sales Engineer is responsible for all sales activities of ISV products and solutions to achieve figures for Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets for the agreed product lines and services in the accounts and/or industries assigned. She/he will cover Iberian territory and all KoBs.
**PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Promote the product line, to achieve bookings and sales targets, by developing and implementing product support and sales strategies aligned with those of the region and business units.
- Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within selected Key Accounts and targeted industries in IBERIA that he/she will directly own.
- Negotiate with targeted Customers and ADCs relevant Business & Distribution Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority - including discount, price and volume structures.
- Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
- Maintain an updated project/opportunity list for the assigned customers in CRMoD
- Coordinate and assist with product field tests, walkdowns, trials, etc.
- Monitor competitive activities and develop strategies to address and counter-act them.
- Actively participate in customer-oriented events, site visits, sales campaigns, product lectures, etc.
- Produce bookings and sales forecasts, monitoring performance against budget and report these.
- Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released.
- Oversee, ensure and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
- Report on quotation & project potential through POR and other reporting mechanisms (eg. CRM).
- Adhere to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Final Control Sales Director.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- University degree or equivalent. Engineering or technical background.
- MBA or similar is desired, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, high degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- At least 4 year sales/technical experience in the industrial market.
- Strong communications skills (Fluency in English - verbal and written - is required and any other European language would be an asset).
