We are looking for a tech savvy Sales Engineer for Spain, that can drive business growth in our System and Software Portfolio. In your role, you will have a key part in bringing our innovative solutions to clients, to help them achieve quantifiable results.

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:

- Be responsible for achieving or exceeding annual order targets in defined accounts/industries.
- Own the qualification process of potential projects and provide sales intelligence to define a winning strategy.
- Explore new markets where we do not have presence, driving incremental local market participation of Control Systems, Safety System, Protection and Prediction Systems
- Drive Software License, subscription and services orders growth through Industrial Software Solutions portfolio.
- Develop & Execute the designated account plans, focusing on addressing customers’ s priorities & difficulties
- Arrange and assist in customer meetings and demonstrations of our products capabilities.
- Leverage Emerson's products and seek to increase the “pull-through” of Distributed Control System, Safety and Instrumentation System, Reliability Solutions and position the Industrial Software portfolio in the current accounts
- Manage commercial and technical negotiations with customer.

**FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED**:

- 5+ yr. sales experience in process automation industry, with focus on Control System and/or Protection/Conditioning Monitoring System.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.
- Consultative selling skills.
- Desirable experience in software platform sales or business development.
- Spanish and English proficiency (written, read, spoken).
- Willingness to travel in the region and international occasionally.
