External Fulfillment supports EU Retail Operations in identifying the best ways to fulfill products that Amazon FCs (Fulfillment Centers) cannot currently support. External Fulfillment works with the retail teams, our Network Planning team and Operations to prioritize potential solutions and coordinates the integration with the 3PL. The Emerging Markets Program Manager will be responsible for both launch and improvement projects of new countries within the External Fulfillment Specialty and Emerging Markets team. Interfacing with the Retail, Supply Chain and Transportation teams and External as well as Internal Fulfillment Operations partners, you will contribute to the development of Amazon flexible & customer-centric fulfillment. Key job responsibilities - Contribute and lead major expansion projects within the European External Fulfillment / Supply Chain / Transportation to support business and selection growth - Scope, develop and implement end to end technical/engineering solutions for new 3PL nodes and another alternative fulfillment than Amazon traditional FC. - Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations - Ensure for each integration that requirements and resources both internal / external are available to deliver success - Contribute to contract negotiations with our external fulfillment partners - Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across various Amazon’s teams - Support and manage critical relations with external partners from the initial phase of the project to its execution and train them to the required Amazon processes - Work closely with technical development teams to deliver features which are customer-focused, scale able, auditable and iteratively developed - Demonstrate strong ownership of any part of their project About the team EUCF Flex and Specialty (FSF - Flex and Specialty Fulfilment), is a team providing innovative, cost-effective fulfillment solutions across Europe through our unique, remotely deployed, field operations team. We are the global expert of usage and deployment of FAAST WMS in very different 1P and 3P environment but the team maintains as well expertise to manage traditional sortable 3PL FC via AFTX. We leverage remote operations, specialized facilities, and strategic partnerships to expand Amazon's capabilities in specialty product handling (Hazmat, BWS ,Tires), same-day delivery (through Micro-Fulfilment nodes), Low-cost Peak capacity (Pop-up) and network expansion (setup of 3PLs in emerging markets).
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
