Creative Project Manager

Flax&Kale is looking for 1 Creative Project Manager to join our Content & Comms team in our HQ in Barcelona. We are convinced that our people will lead this change by sharing their ideas and talent and by contributing to our motto: Eat better > Be happier > Live longer. **Tasks and Responsibilities** Reporting to the Creative Director, the CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGER is an integral part of the Content & Comms team, focused on increasing efficiencies, decreasing turnaround times, process enhancements and enforcement, and process documentation. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but it is not limited to the following responsibilities: - You will be responsible for managing the Content & Comms team workflow from concept through to delivery, being competent in allocating resources, monitoring, and reporting on the status of any internal and external creative project (graphics, photo & video brand assets), keeping the project on track, on budget and on time. - You will be creatively centric, driving delivery excellence across the department and the projects you are associated with. - You will manage the briefs received by the Content & Comms team from the different stakeholders, ensuring that all the necessary information is provided to execute the project and follow them through to delivery. - You will be accountable for managing calendars, schedules, scopes, and budget estimations, and identify risk, issues, work overloads and dependencies, ensuring escalations are raised appropriately to senior management when necessary. - You will build and maintain effective relationships with key internal departments and external stakeholders, coordinating project meetings and providing regular contact on project status and changes. - You will source, oversee, and nurture a multidisciplinary network of external partners and vendors that could include photographers, filmmakers, 2D/3D designers/animators, motiongraphers and more. - You will manage project budgets, negotiating fees and expenses, being the main responsible for all finance related matters of given projects. - You will use project management software to keep a list of jobs within the team and their deadlines up to date, making sure that the team spends more time developing creative content, and less time coordinating and other internal processes. - You will also help the Creative Director for managing the internal creative talents and freelances to assign the right work to the right person. - You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the project document repository for the team, as well as the internal content pool of graphics, photo, and video assets, making sure they are accessible and ready to be used for the different stakeholders. **Requirements**: - University degree in Journalism/Humanities/Marketing/Communication or other relevant degree. - 3+ years of experience as a project manager in the creative industry sector (brand or agency environment), managing graphics, photo & video assets. - Good understanding of graphic design and digital-print traffic processes, and inputting ideas on how to improve current practices where required. - Adept at using project management and collaboration tools, experience working with project management tool Airtable is advantageous. **Soft skills** - Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work and resources, and easily collaborate with others to get results. - Capable of working within tight time and budget constraints to produce content of the highest quality. - Ability to manage a high volume of projects and easily adapt to different creative visions. **Hard skills** - Food / Sports / Healthy Lifestyle experience/interest. - Business proficient in English (written and spoken). - **Applicants without references will not be considered.** **Some good reasons to apply** - Opportunity to be part of Flax & Kale family, one of the most innovative companies in the food tech industry - Competitive salary and flexible remuneration plan - Flexible schedule and flexible teleworking policy - Nice office in the centre of
