F&b Manager, Emea

We're looking for a Food & Beverage Specialist to help in the creation, development and implementation of Sonder's F&B strategic plan in EMEA while setting objectives for future growth and expansion. Passionate about delivering great travel experiences and entertainment, you will be an awesome collaborator and all-round great executer, you'll work together with senior leaders across Sonder's EMEA markets including the lead on Strategic Initiatives EMEA, our RGM, EMEA Central Ops & the Global Central Ops team helping develop strategic initiatives which will help drive at-scale operational F&B improvements that in turn help us provide jaw-dropping experiences for guests.

**AT SONDER YOU WILL**:

- Design and implement a customer centric and delightful F&B experience for our guests
- Work closely with the General Managers and operational teams of each EMEA country to create a locally relevant product and operating model (in-sourced / outsourced / mix)
- Develop and implement guidelines on how we approach F&B in each market, owning the F&B partner selection and helping to guide brand adjacency
- Be responsible for building internal capabilities with cross functional teams
- Work closely with our inhouse legal team to help drive the legal process
- Define health & safety processes
- Ensure we are compliant with applicable regulations and laws governing F&B in each market
- Collaborate closely with on-the-ground staff, gather feedback, understand any roadblocks to implementation, and own the solution
- Communicate opinions, provide business direction, and research economic trends within the F&B industry

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**:

- Proven related experience in the hospitality industry, emphasis on Food & Beverage required
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: communication, negotiation, project management, and problem-solving
- A strategic yet tactical & operational thinker, who can both recommend an approach and help operational teams implement
- A proven ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes
- Must be willing to travel to markets as needed
- Be a team player (e.g., work toward team goals and foster a collaborative and positive work environment; put the team first; assist coworkers; treat all coworkers with kindness, courtesy and respect; never engage in negativity; receptive to change and willingness to embrace challenges with team-spirit).
