**Business Development Internship**
Deimos Flight Segment Directorate offers an internship in its Business Development team to support efforts to commercialize Flight Segment products.
The work of the Flight Segment Directorate is the design and implementation of space missions, and the development of Software and Avionics products for the Space sector. As a matter of reference, DEIMOS’ Flight Segment Directorate activities cover:
- Vehicles
- Observation (EO) satellites
- Servicing (SSV) and active debris removal (ADR) missions
- Descent, and landing on planets (Earth, Mars) & natural satellites
- Exploration and observation, including interplanetary navigation
- Software capabilities, incl. edge processing and satellite autonomy
**Main Duties**:
The following types of responsibilities are envisioned:
- In the definition and creation of business and financial plans
- Modelling for business plans and proposals
- In market and competitor research (gather and support analysis of public information)
- Of documentation for business plans and market research
- In preparation of presentations for prospect customers and management
- In the creation of pricing models and relevant tools
- General activities to support business development of the Flight Segment
**Education**:
A recognized double degree in engineering and business, or a degree in business administration or economics.
**Professional Experience**:
Not required.
Knowledge of national and European institutions in the space sector, and of the space sector in general is desired.
**Technical requirements**:
- Knowledge of Office 365 tools. Good knowledge of Excel in particular is required.
- with business plan frameworks (e.g., business model canvas) and market analysis frameworks (e.g., TAM, SAM, SOM)
- experience with Excel modelling is desired

Professional level of English, spoken and written
