**Agfa HealthCare is looking for an HR Manager Europe South**
**located in Barcelona**
In this role you will be in charge of the HR Operations, you will provide HR support to managers and employees, implementing HR policies and deploying global HR processes and systems to achieve business results, maintaining appropriate balance between the business needs and legal framework.
The Europe South Region consists of a cluster of small business units within the Agfa Gevaert Group with Sales and Services, R&D teams and supporting functions totalling cca 220 employees based in Italy (offices in Milano and Macerata), Spain (office in Barcelona) and Greece (cca 25 employees)
**Main responsibilities**
- You drive and operationally execute the implementation of our employee life cycle strategy and you coach, support and challenge our leaders in their people management;
- You manage employee relations issues including performance management issues;
- Participates as team member in the development of human resources programs;
- You advise the organization from an employment law perspective and act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
- You ensure compliance of the organization’s practices with applicable labor legislation and collective labor agreements;
- You handle dialogue with social partners/works councils;
**Requirements**:
- At least 2-3 years working experience in a HR Generalist role
- You can work as part of a global team, while at the same time having a hands-on and operational approach
- Results oriented; developing focused and realistic plans for one self and deliver expectations with the ability to exhibit resilience
- Demonstrate determination and flexibility to overcome barriers
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels in the business
- You have good working knowledge of labor law and health & safety legislation in both Italy and Spain. Working knowledge of labor law in Greece would be desirable.
**Languages**
- Excellent Spanish and Italian are a must have Having a good command of English is also important. Knowledge of other European languages would be an asset
**Location**:Your main office location will be in Barcelona. This role requires some travel-flexibility.
