**BidMachine** is a cutting-edge programmatic advertising platform, part of the Appodeal, that helps app developers and advertisers drive growth with precision-targeted mobile ads. Our DSP and SSP technologies empower publishers and advertisers with transparent, customizable, and efficient real-time bidding solutions.
We're now growing our Demand Side team and looking for a **Technical Account Manager** (TAM) to act as a key link between our DSP clients and internal engineering, product, and data teams.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the technical voice and strategic guide for our demand partners. You'll ensure smooth onboarding, monitor integration health, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights to maximize partner value. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering to drive campaign success and ensure best-in-class support for programmatic buying partners.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Onboarding & Integration**
- Act as the primary technical contact for new DSP partners.
- Guide clients through integration setup (OpenRTB, VAST, custom APIs).
- Support clients in adapting their bidding logic to match BidMachine's infrastructure.
**Technical Support & Issue Resolution**
- Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting performance, delivery, or bidding.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering/product) to identify root causes and implement fixes.
**Monitoring & Optimization**
- Monitor QPS, win rates, bid responses, fill rate, and other KPIs.
- Proactively recommend improvements to increase performance and reduce latency or errors.
**Strategic Collaboration**
- Build long-term relationships with demand-side clients by deeply understanding their business goals and technical needs.
- Share product roadmap insights and gather feedback for future improvements.
**Documentation & Reporting**
- Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and integration guides.
- Provide regular technical reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
**Must-Haves**:
- 2-5 years in a client-facing technical role (TAM, Solutions Engineer, AdOps, Programmatic Support).
- Deep understanding of OpenRTB, VAST, and programmatic advertising.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with debugging tools, log analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills - both technical and non-technical.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
**➕**Nice-to-Haves**:
- Previous experience at an SSP, DSP, or Ad Exchange.
- Familiarity with mobile app monetization, SDKs, and MMPs.
- Python or scripting skills for debugging or prototyping.
- AdTech certifications (IAB, Google, etc.).
