Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a Program Manager to lead the strategy and planning of WW ROC (WW Relay Operations Center) program. ROC supports our Middle Mile network for over 450 nodes in EU. With over 600+ employees based across different countries, EU ROC team addresses disruptions in the Middle Mile network, supporting drivers and carriers faced with unexpected events (poor weather, road closures, unexpected surges in volume, mechanical breakdowns, etc.) to allow them to deliver packages safely and on time.

This Program Manager is responsible for supporting the strategy, planning and operations for our WW ROC program. The role requires functional collaboration with HR, Recruiting, Tech, Legal, Training as well as local Operations teams and other senior stakeholders in Europe, India and North America. The Program Manager is also responsible for delivering a high quality planning, standardization and process parity for ensuring WW ROC delivers in EU, NA and India.

Key job responsibilities

This position is responsible for the following strategic focus areas:

- Supporting the vision for WW ROC and driving strategically important initiatives with leaders in Europe and North America to launch and expand WW ROC
- Driving standardization of operational procedures and partnering with technology leaders to build repeatable and predictable structures to increase consistency and reliability of WW operational performance
- Designing short and long-term EU ROC strategies and mechanisms to ensure right outcomes for our stakeholders and facilitating game-changing innovation
- Creating plans for areas and/or technologies that need investment to grow, negotiating new boundaries around the areas they own to achieve the best outcomes.
- Writing documents for leadership reviews and providing visibility on program status
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field or an MBA
- High bias for using metrics to achieve operational excellence and deliver results
- Ability to think strategically and to drive the detailed execution of specific initiatives
- Experience in working in international environments
- Experience in communicating at the most senior level
- Six-sigma champion
