**About Klearing**

Klearing was founded in 2020 and is designed to bring professional settlement directly to small and medium sized enterprises. The platform combines smart FX settlement with streamlined communication and document share. We support buyers and sellers globally who use our trade communication and settlement technology to transact more efficiently in 22 currencies. We allow digital trade communication & collaboration between multiple partners at scale.

We currently employ a strong international team at Klearing with extensive experience in fintech, FX and financial instruments, supply chain management, big data and machine learning. Located in London, UK, Marbella, Spain and in Vilnius, Lithuania.

**About the role**

This role will require the development and maintenance of Klearing’s compliance strategies and relevant policies, and ensure their rigorous implementation across all functions within the business, while guaranteeing sustained regulatory compliance.

The MLRO will have the level of authority, independence and support to properly carry out his or her responsibilities.

**What you'll be doing**
- Be the main liaison and relationship management with Lithuanian regulator and FIU including regulatory reporting where necessary.
- Assist in the oversight of compliance with regulatory rules on systems and controls against Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime and assist staff with interpretation of rules and assist in development of a positive compliance culture.
- Receive internal reports in regards to suspicious activity, evaluating these and reporting to the FIU.
- Identify regulatory changes and ensure that the necessary processes and controls are put in place so they are complied with.
- Manage the remediation of documentation and information deficiencies from a compliance perspective and produce appropriate solutions to present to the leadership.
- Proactively identify and report issues to senior management.

**What you'll need**
- Min 3 years compliance experience with a financial institution or an EMI - essential
- Experience in dealing with the Bank of Lithuania the FNTT and other regulatory bodies
- Very good knowledge of the Lithuanian and EU regulatory environment and key financial crime regimes.
- A knowledge of complex structures, including offshore clients - and the compliance involved with this.
- Good communicator with the ability to motivate others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian

- Experience from EMI regulated fintech company
- Experience with UK financial and EMI regulation
