To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Construction Site Manager located in Spain.
The Construction Site Manager goal is to facilitate a positive experience with NEXTracker.
He/she ensures that NEXTracker’s products and Installation out-perform customer expectations and are of the highest quality possible and develops customer loyalty by optimizing the product to the customer’s needs and providing great technical onsite support services on the NEXTracker product and the tools to build it.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will provide technical support for NEXTracker customers worldwide, ensuring a best in class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value;
- Translate and interpret wiring/ construction schematics to support Construction installation, Civil, Structural and Electrical;
- Adherence to OSHA safety regulations and NEXTracker Safety standards and ensure no NEXTracker employee or subcontractor operations proceed without proper safety compliance;
- Will be responsible party for conducting, documenting and reporting safety meetings;
- Ensure NEC and UBC Code compliance on all electrical and mechanical component installation;
- Assist in preplanning of projects including plan review and comments, manpower, project sequencing, material takeoffs, material requisitions and reviewing subcontractors’ scopes of work;
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project managers, project designers and client;
- Work with Project Management to develop accurate construction schedule forecasts and to create daily tracking forms to track labor usage, material deliveries, and equipment rentals;
- Train and support a large scale work force, upwards of 300 personnel plus subcontractors;
- Setup and train clients on Huck tool maintenance and provide ongoing tool support through the project;
- Troubleshoot and repair failed tools or components to ensure 0 downtime in the field.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- 5 years of construction management experience;
- 3-4 years of commercial electrical experience;
- Proficient with heavy equipment (Forklifts, Reach Forklifts, Bobcats, Scissor lifts, etc.);
- Proficient with basic building equipment (Laser levels, transits, etc.);
- Understanding of construction math and strong problem solving skills;
- Strong self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to maintain client relationships;
- Safe Working Practices and Knowledge of OSHA safety standards;
- Success at managing and delivering construction projects on schedule and under budget;
- Willing to travel up to 75% of the time;
- Previous solar electricity experience highly desired and NABCEP Certification will be a plus.
