Transmission Line Construction Manager We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line EPC Construction expert/ Manager to join our Clients international EPC project team. This role requires expertise in all phases of transmission line construction, fluency in English for business communication, and prior experience in Spanish or Latin American EPC projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure seamless execution of projects across Europe and Latin America. About the Role This role requires expertise in all phases of transmission line construction, fluency in English for business communication, and prior experience in Spanish or Latin American EPC projects. Responsibilities End-to-End Construction Management Oversee the full lifecycle of transmission line projects, including route survey, foundation construction, tower erection, conductor stringing, insulator installation, and commissioning. Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and technical specifications, resolving on-site technical challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the technical liaison between project managers, design teams, procurement, and subcontractors, coordinating resources to meet deadlines and quality standards. Participate in technical reviews and deliver documentation (e.g., construction plans, acceptance reports). International Project Execution Demonstrate familiarity with Spanish/Latin American EPC project workflows, adapting to multicultural environments. Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards (e.g., OHSAS 18001), and environmental requirements. Risk Mitigation & Cost Control Proactively identify risks (e.g., geological/hydrological challenges, weather delays) and implement mitigation strategies to avoid schedule overruns and budget overflows. Qualifications Education Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience 8+ years of hands-on experience in transmission line EPC projects, including full project cycles (design, procurement, construction). Proven expertise in tower assembly, conductor installation, live-line work, and other technical construction processes. Priority given to candidates with experience in Spanish/EU or Latin American EPC projects, or fluency in Spanish technical documentation. Required Skills Language Proficiency: Fluent English (CET-6 equivalent) for technical presentations, negotiations, and documentation; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred. Technical Tools: Proficient in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and other engineering software. Certifications: PMP, Registered Electrical Engineer, or EPC-specific certifications (e.g., IPMA Level B) are advantageous. Preferred Skills Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure, with adaptability for overseas assignments or extended travel. Cross-cultural communication skills and experience working in multinational teams.
