**What do we do?** We are a digital transport operator focusing on optimizing long-hauling in Europe. Thanks to our driver relay system that allows multiple drivers to switch between each other, we are improving the standard of trucking.

As a **VP of Partner Acquisition** you will be responsible for:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive partner acquisition strategy to expand our network of trucking company partners.
- Lead and manage a team of 9+ direct and indirect reports.
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential partners to establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Lead the qualification, negotiation, and closing of partnership deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and other partnership terms to maximize value for both parties.
- Optimize and manage +-80% of the company’s cost structure, which is what we pay for transportation partners
- Regularly evaluate the performance of current partners and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an attractive USP for potential and current partners
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential new partnership opportunities and areas for growth.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on partnership acquisition progress, challenges, and achievements.

To be **successful** in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related analytical field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, purchasing roles or consulting roles
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-driven, with a strong commitment to achieving aggressive growth / savings targets.
- Fluent written and verbal English
