KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management.
- Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably with 4 years of HR Business Partnering exposure.
- A Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, HR industry trends and Sri Lankan labour law.
- Demonstrate experience with HR metrics, HR budgeting, HR systems and databases.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to drive HR initiatives.
- High-level of leadership capabilities, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
- Advanced inter-personal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the business units and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy to implement high quality HR practices among them. Delivering a comprehensive range of HR initiatives to the assigned strategic business units.
- Develop Recruitment, Talent Acquisition strategies to fulfil all vacancy openings in the organization by ensuring the business attracts and retains top talent.
- Lead Performance Management, Talent Retention, Succession Planning and Workforce Planning initiatives.
- Provide guidance to Line Managers on organizational, people, change and all HR related matters.
- Identify existing talent and develop them into internal vacancies to ensure talent development and retainment in the organization.
- Generate and analyze HR analytics specific to the assigned business units, to enable data-driven decision making to the senior management.
- Collaborate with centralized teams in Internal Communication, Talent Acquisition, Training and Development to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
- Act as a champion of employee experience, fostering strong relationships with all levels in the organization.
- Identify and assess training needs to deliver effective training and development initiatives.
- Involvement in HR Budgeting, Manpower Forecasting and HR Analytics.
- Handling all Employee Relations and Labour Relation matters in compliance with stipulated labour regulations.
- Managing employee surveys, interpret results with action points and managing employee communication initiatives for the organization.
- Provide advice and suggestions for cultural transformation initiatives to shape a strong organizational culture.
