For our **Distribution** **center** in Barcelona, we have a great opportunity for an **Operations** **Coordinator**.

In this position, you will **lead our 3 team leaders with each of their 12 operators** in three different shifts on the shopfloor.
As well you handle our resources allocated to ensure that our products are manufactured and shipped on time regarding time, safety, and quality standards plus internal regulations and laws (including Negotiable Commerce and Tertiary) in employment.
**You will directly report to our DC Manager **
In this critical role, you will:
- support and ensure implementation of Distribution Center Network and Local Strategy in terms of **safety, people, quality, service, productivity and cost.**:
- You optimize the use of human resources assigned, depending on the workload and instructions received.
- You ensure the direct use of the slitting machines, packaging line, including forklifts and auxiliary equipment, making the production schedule received within the standards of quality and productivity assigned.
- You are responsible to maintain standards of safety, 5S at the work spaces and you are the coach and support to our team leaders on your day to day job.
- You verify the execution of quality controls, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with the working procedures (SOP).
**Qualifications**:

- ** You have a Degree** **in** **Engineering** with a strong preference for specialization in **Lean** **Manufacturing & Continuous improvement**:
- You have a successful work **experience** **of** **2+** **years** in an **international** **manufacturing** **environment** with **team** **management** **experience**:
- You gained very good knowledge of **planning** **and** **project** **management**:
- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills in **Spanish** **and** **English** both spoken and written
- You perform well in any situation and be responsible for a number of key tasks at a time
- You have a **high degree of accuracy, good time-management and priority setting skills**:
- Strong cultural empathy and team-player, relationship-building attitude to operate in complex multinational organization
