Are you ready to take your own culinary project and bring a 2 Michelin star restaurant into its third star? At Cooking Europe, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Chef to manage and develop the culinary proposal of a 2-Michelin-star restaurant in Ireland.
**About the project**:
Located in the captivating county of Kildare, the elegant establishment is inspired by the connection between climate, nature, and the art of gastronomy. With a capacity to accommodate up to 26 people, they ensure an unforgettable dining affair. The restaurant has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. Their culinary philosophy centers around modern cuisine, drawing inspiration from their heritage and embracing the exceptional local produce that Ireland has to offer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a talented culinary team to create exceptional dishes that reflect their commitment to using fantastic ingredients.
- Develop innovative menus that showcase both local produce and global culinary techniques.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and attention to detail in all culinary creations.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Continuously strive for excellence, seeking ways to improve and refine their culinary offerings.
- Support their commitment to local fishermen and farmers, sourcing and utilizing the best of Ireland's incredible ingredients.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef in a 2 or 3 Michelin-star restaurant is essential.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on creativity, innovation, and modern techniques.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.
- A drive for continuous improvement and a desire to achieve and maintain the highest culinary standards.
- High level of English.
- Available to work in Ireland and take the project for at least 5 years.
