**Summary**

This is the leadership position in IAI Medical Affairs in Spain, reporting to reporting to the IAI Medical Affairs lead Region Europe in a matrix structure with dotted lines to the Medical Director Spain and the IAI BUD for Spain.

This person will actively participate/lead a broad range of IAI (Dermatology/Ruxolitinib Cream as the key priority) medical affairs activities such as launch preparation & strategy support, the oversight of investigator initiated research (IIR) programs, and the medical review of Medical Affairs materials/promotional materials.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Execute the European Medical Strategy & launch for Ruxolitinib Cream in Spain.
- Drive strong belief internally & externally for Ruxolitinib Cream in dermatology.
- Establish and foster key partnerships for Incyte in Dermatology within cluster.
- Establish and foster valued relationships with key external experts (KEE) in dermatology at both national and local levels.
- Primary focus on Vitiligo centers of excellence expanding to broader dermatology with additional indications for Ruxolitinib Cream, with the expectation that some “in field” activities will be required, from the outset and will continue, to establish Incyte partnerships in dermatology
- Further expansion into other indications for Ruxolitinib Cream will follow with a potential type II variation for atopic dermatitis that will necessitate broadening dermatology relationships and expanded of KEE out reach
- Ensure Spanish requirements are accounted for in IAI European/global plans for dermatology.
- Actively participate in the Spain leadership and brand teams representing IAI Medical Affairs Dermatology.
- Provide support to the Value Access and Pricing team for all reimbursement activities with the appropriate authorities for Incyte dermatology therapies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with experts and investigators in dermatology (IAI).
- Conduct investigational site visits as needed.
- Provide educational materials for patient organizations and patients.
- Participate and/or facilitate data presentation and discussion at national advisory boards and investigator meetings.
- Review and approval of medical, promotional and sales training materials for scientific/medical accuracy.
- Provide medical review and sign-off of medical drug information letters, slides, custom responses, publications, medical education grants, and other medical affairs materials as needed.
- Serve as a scientific/medical expert for IAI dermatology to address questions from healthcare professionals.
- Support site selection, patient recruitment and management of national and international clinical studies.
- Oversee future investigator initiated research (IIR) in Spain.
- Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.
- Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines and ensure all pharmacovigilance requirements for Incyte therapies are met.

**Requirements**:

- MD or MD/PhD with 5+ years in academic, clinical, or industry setting required.
- Dermatology &/ Immunology experience required.
- Familiarity with GCP/ICH/FDA requirements as well as clinical trial design, biostatistics, medical writing, product safety, and regulatory affairs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong public speaking skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to influence and work effectively across functions and operate in a matrix environment.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of working time.
