We assist clients in the pharmaceutical industry who develop innovative therapies. MphaR supports companies in pre-launch and launch/post-launch phases: we enhance the development of Medical Strategy and Medical Planning as well as the execution of different type of medical activities (e.g. Advisory Board, Medical Education Events, KOLs mapping/identification) in Oncology, Neurology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas._

**Medical Affairs Lead Spain Advert**

This position is for the Medical Affairs Lead Spain, which is an office-based in Madrid, Spain and is responsible to represent medical affairs and be accountable to build deep understanding of the current and future direction of the assigned disease/ therapeutic area and products.

We are looking to recruit a high calibre individual to join our Medical Affairs Team located in Spain. This is a great opportunity for you to combine your scientific background, clinical expertise with your good communication, relationship building and leadership skills.

To be successful in this role you shall have MD, PharmD, PhD degree or equivalent suitable scientific background with 7+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs.

Additionally, you have:

- Ability to establish and maintain leadership responsibilities in major scientific and advocacy organizations, and on national standard-setting bodies
- Existing network with external constituents (KOLs, other thought leaders, external organizations, etc.) is preferred
- A general understanding of human pharmaceutical product development process in Spain

**Education**:

- Master's (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical Writing: 2 years (preferred)
- Pharmaceutical Industry: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical Communication: 2 years (preferred)
- Project Management: 1 year (preferred)
