The HR Generalist is responsible for providing support to the South Europe & Center of Competencies HR Business Partner in managing the complete employee life cycle for employees located in Spain and our Competency Centre in Sant Cugat.
You will get the opportunity to work with the wider EMEA and Global HR team on key people and organization initiatives.
**What you will do**:
- Responsibility for supporting HR Operations in Spain.
- Work with our HR shared services team to ensure seamless transition of employee changes.
- Develop, deploy, and implement HR processes across responsible locations.
- Guide managers on employee relations and performance management topics.
- Conduct exit interviews, compile insights and recommendations.
- Responsible for ensuring our tracking tools are maintained.
- Support the development of HR dashboards.
- Co-ordinate employee life cycle processes e.g. compensation planning.
- You will support performance and development planning.
- Manage employee relations issues e.g., disciplinary and absences etc.
- Talent management: you will implement talent management processes to enable management of our high potentials and support career growth and development.
- Performance Management: you will support managers to drive performance across our teams providing HR insight, tools and processes.
- Learning & Development; undertake needs assessment to build capabilities and skills including 3rd party partnering and development of learning content (70:20:10 philosophy).
- Talent acquisition: you will support the identification, replacement and hiring through partnering with the TA team in Barcelona and hiring managers. Including an active role in determining need, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
- Reward; provide advice and guidance on reward topics including benchmarking, with people managers and employees.
- Policy & procedure development and implementation. Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
- Engagement and retention; you will ensure engagement and communication actions are in place working in partnership with the managers and proactively identify and address retention risks.
**What you need to have**:
- Proven track record of a minimum 3 years as an HR Generalist ideally within a matrix, international and sales focused organization.
- Solid understanding of employment law in Spain.
- Proven experience in supporting and/or managing full employee lifecycle topics.
- Excellent communication skills, results oriented, ownership, teamwork spirit, be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Full proficiency in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Italian would be a big plus.
