Our client is a global designer, developer and manufacturer of market-leading medical aesthetic device technologies. The business is going through significant and rapid growth across the globe. As part of their development, they are now looking for a seasoned professional to lead the creation of a new category in the industry.
The position is a **Category Development Manager **who will be responsible for the overall launch of an innovation and new category of consumer aesthetic product.
The objective of the position is to lead the creation of all materials, glossary, visual inputs, and messaging for the new market. The position manages a creative team of 3 people and works cross-functionally on a global level with the Marketing operations specialists and agencies per country.
The position reports to Consumer Marketing Director.
The position is based in Barcelona, Spain.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant University degree
- 8+ years of experience developing and executing market readiness and go-to-market strategies
- Strong experience in Category design / Branding within a company or in an agency
- Proven track record of successful product management and launching new products
- Strong Direct to Consumer experience with regulated products
- Experience with regulated industry and following global processes
- Entrepreneurship, flexibility and creativity
- Budget and people management
- Perfect English is a must; Spanish is preferred
- Ability to travel globally (up to 50%)
