**What we offer**
This Category Manager role will be a key player within the Iberian sales development team and will also lead the global category development of a new range of products. This role serves as a crucial link between strategic business needs and commercial operations, working closely with the Sales and Marketing Team.
This position entails splitting your focus equally between Iberia-related tasks and coordinating category projects on a global scale.
**What you will do**_ _**
Our category expert’s main responsibilities are:
- Perform analysis around the pet food category and its strategic segments (evolution, market shares, channel vision )
- Generate Monthly Business Reviews and deep dive into the key insights identified, to ensure an optimal business grip in the market.
- Support the Sales Development and KAM teams, providing relevant data about category trends and shopper insights which can be applied to design and strengthen customer business plans.
- Co-lead & act as a strategic partner for the Marketing area:
- Define, develop and promote category plans across brands
- Co-lead innovation
- Coordinate and lead Commercial updates to the Iberia Sales Team:
- Newsletter for Sales Team
- Link with AECOC Data & Media for updated information about Affinity’s Grocery Portfolio
**What we are looking for**
- University degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing in FMCG.
- Minimum experience of 5 years.
- Experience in leading transversal projects.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- High ability to build structured presentations with an impressive and direct flow.
- Expertise in the use of sell out databases (e.g. Nielsen, Kantar,...)
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Team work, proactivity and commitment.
