French Account Manager with Focus On Driving

We are looking for a commercial account manager to take full ownership for managing and developing the client's storage media business.
The role is all about working closely with the right group of channel partners to move the business forward. You'll need to be able build professional relationships at any level in an account and motivate your partners to win with the right mix of plans, programs and promotions. You're most likely to succeed if you're able identify partners that are well positioned in the market and are keen to do more. If you're self-motivated, organized and like to take ownership for your part of the business then this could be a great role for you.
Responsibilities and measures
- Responsible for achieving/managing quota based on regional guidelines
- Coordinates and owns account plans for commercial accounts.
- Focuses on deals and opportunities.
- Establishes a professional working relationship (up to the executive level) with channel partners.
- Analyzes win/loss rates and drive recommendation to improve ratios.
- Enters and is accountable for all tools and processes.
- Establishes and maintains account plans to promote sales growth
- Maintains broad market and competitor solution knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives
- Serves as the expert to the partner for all information regarding product, services, and promotions.
- Educates and updates partners on new technologies or solutions. May be brought in by partners to sell the brand to end customers.
- May recruit and develop business relationship with new partners
We offer:
- Full time position 39 hours/week, 08:30-17:00/09:00-17:30
- Permanent contract
- 22.000 euros gross/year + up to 5.000 euros gross/year in bonus + 1.000 euros/year in food card
Qualifications & Experience
- Native/advanced in French and fluent English
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Typically 5-8 years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
- Solid experience in selling to partners in a complex environment
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning
- Proven track record of building sales growth
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Self-motivated, professional and pro-active and strong team player
- Building strategic relationships with partner decision makers
- Able to develop high impact account plans with partners
- Ability to motivate partner's sales force
- Solid understanding of deal management discipline
- Ability to travel up to 75%
