Worldsensing products have been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for a stand-out Technical Sales Specialist to join the Sales team at WS in our Asia Pacific region Team.

Founded in 2008, Worldsensing works with more than 300 engineering partners worldwide to improve geotechnical, geospatial and structural monitoring in mining, construction, rail and critical infrastructure management.
With over 1,000 monitoring networks deployed worldwide and connecting over 65,000 sensors to the Internet of Things, our Loadsensing solution is the leader in the IoT remote monitoring space. We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Technical Sales Specialist to take Loadsensing to the next level in that region.

**The Mission**: Worldsensing is looking for an Inside Sales to support the various industries we serve in Europe. The Inside Sales will be focused on ensuring they retain their existing customers and achieving new customer acquisition. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, collaborating with colleagues from Sales, Customer Success and Operations, generating interest, qualifying prospects, follow ups and closing sales.
The Inside Sales will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue retention and revenue growth objectives.
This is an individual contributor role based in Barcelona.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos to prospects
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
- Keep record of sales trends
- Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales actions
- Suggest sales process improvements
- Understand procedures for Worldsensing’s internal customer facing teams and Operations

**Requirements**:
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- You have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position internationally and in the sale of services and equipment.
- A strong geotechnical background will be a strong advantage for this position
- Fluent in English
