What will you do as the Business Development Associate? **In your first 90 days you'll**: - Develop a strong understanding of Devex products and services - Have a good understanding of team’s revenue and impact targets - Keep Salesforce contact and opportunity information up-to-date and well organized - Identify and qualify new business leads using in-house marketing tools, social media listening, online market research and competitor monitoring - Have a broad understanding of global development and digital media **By the time you finish your first year you'll have**: - Used your organization skills to have Salesforce completely operational, organized and up-to-date. - Taken the lead on creating Salesforce campaigns and nurturing programs. - Tracked sales results to goals by preparing and forwarding sales reports and ran bi-weekly sales progress & pipeline reports to keep the team on track of pipeline and revenue goals. - Assisted the Business Development Leads to nurture relationships with existing key accounts and generate business with 10 new target accounts - Developed a new and operational social media listening and competition monitoring strategy, yielding strong leads - Organized and prepared the Business Development Lead’s business trips and in-person meetings **Qualifications**: Here are the basic requirements you'll need as a Business Development Associate - Ideally you are located in Barcelona and are open to coming to the office on a regular basis - Ability to work 40 hours per week - Have at least 2 years of work experience in business development operations or executive support - Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or any related field - Salesforce experience or similar CRM - Strong market research and social media skills - English proficiency **Nice-to-haves**: Besides the basics, here’s what we’d love to see you have - Knowledge of global development community - Experience using marketo, reply.io or similar marketing automation software - Professional working proficiency in French or another European language - Experience working in Public Relations, Public Affairs or Communications sectors. - Keen interest and exposure to international business - If based in Barcelona, Spain you'd need a Spanish work authorization.
