MISSION
To audit the technical viability of the products, supporting the project teams in order to achieve the cost, quality and time goals, established by the management of the company, and contribute to design and follow up on Technological Road Maps.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Study the technical feasibility of the products to participate in offers for customers.
- Be at the cutting edge in the technological area.
- Detect potential needs in patentability cases or patent infringement risks.
- Design and document advanced and optimized architectures.
- Recommend, and implement the developments, following the standards and methodologies.
- Assist in system reviews and trainings for system engineers.
- Lead design discussions and participate in system evaluations and improvements.
- Provide technical leadership for the entire system development lifecycle.
- Identify appropriate system architectures based on the customer requirements.
- Maintain and improve system architecture documents based on evolving customer requirements and industry trends and technologies.
- Consider / create the related Technical Project Risk Management plan.
- Provide supporting information to the System engineers to create a system specification.
- Participate in the system review process to ensure the consistency between the system requirements and the system architecture.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
- Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
- Provide the team the necessary means to comply the OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**: University Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or Telecommunications

**Languages**: Fluent local language & Fluent English (spoken and written)

**Experience**: Five (5) years in projects with participation in SW, HW, MECH

**Travel**: Availability to travel
